Burien, WA - Today, June 11, 2024, Burien's Police Chief Theodore Boe, who has been under fire from the community and from the City of Burien leadership, announced he is resigning from his current position in Burien.The following email was sent to City Manager Adolfo Bailon, Mayor Kevin Schilling, Burien City Council and Sheriff Patti Cole-Tindall at 2:07pm June 11, 2024:
After much consideration, I have decided to resign from the King County Sheriff’s Office and accept an outside employment opportunity. My last day in Burien/ KCSO will be August 15th.
