Burien WA - Approximately 7:20pm on August 15, 2024, Burien Patrol Officers were flagged down at the 600 block of SW 149th St. The "911" Call came across as "CPR." A firetruck, an ambulance, and at least three police vehicles were present at the scene to assist.
According to King County Detective Michael Ramirez, the police were "advised about an adult male having a medical emergency in the area. Deputies quickly responded and provided life saving measures. The male regained consciousness and the Burien Fire department continued medical treatment. The male was transported to a nearby hospital for further medical evaluation."
The case is under further investigation, so there is no further information at this time. We do not know if the life saving measures were drug-related or not.
