On July 30, 2024, a man was found unresponsive, laying on the ground in Burien Town Square Park. According to the King County Sheriff's Office, medics tried to revive him with lifesaving interventions, but he ultimately passed away.
He has now been identified as Juan C. Crisostomo-Serafin, a 19 year-old male. The cause death is pending, according to the King County Medical Examiner's Office report on August 1, 2024.
We are sad to see another young person who has died unnecessarily in Burien.
