Parkside Garden Club Plant Sale Flyer[/caption]Deb Andrews, the club president, sent us this excellent description:Parkside Garden Club was formed in 1961 and currently has 67 members. Theclub meets monthly from September through June and enjoys a variety of activities. These include maintaining the Blue Star Memorial Marker in Normandy Park, field trips, guest speakers, hands-on projects, and garden tours.From the yearly plant sale, proceeds go directly to support horticultural education, local public gardens, parks, and youth programs.Parkside is a member of the Washington State Federation of Garden Clubs/Chinook District. Through this organization there are a wide variety of horticultural, landscape, and design classes available to members.If you get the chance, be sure to stop by this coming Saturday.
